SP8 OF THE ART – THE MARK SPEIGHT FOUNDATION

The Foundation is geared to the discovery of future artistic skills and talent in children up to the age of 18, everywhere in all its various forms, including; portraiture, landscape, fashion design, architecture, graphic design, sculpture and modern art.

It is currently being established as a recognised charity. Its intention is to create regional centres throughout the UK, working in tandem with local authorities, schools and communities generally.

The Foundation will develop local/regional competitions and the winners will then participate in a national competition to find the ‘Young Artist of the Year’. The ultimate aim of the Foundation will be the award of future scholarships.

Mark always encouraged young artists and it is hoped that this Foundation will be his legacy.
