I am Kate Eugeni and I am the Regional Co-ordinator for the Foundation in the North West of England
I met Mark in 1990 when we both attended the American College in London where we both studied Commercial Art. Mark’s enthusiasm for the creative arts was so evident back then. Many an evening we spent creating the most bizarre pieces of artwork however the funniest artwork was always his cartoons. A disagreement would always be resolved with one of his great sketches!
Mark and I both modelled through college and whilst Marks career took off in the television industry I was kept firmly on the catwalk. After a stint working in the marketing department for Bill Kenwright the theatre impresario I too went into television.
I worked for Trans World International on their Premier League programmes. In 1999 I married Ray whom I met at ACL and we moved up to the Wirral, which was my hometown. I have 2 boys, Max (7) and Jackson (5) who keep me very busy. I am lucky enough to be able to juggle motherhood with my art and take on commissions, which I love and teach at a local school a few weeks a year. I am committed to bringing all the creative arts to our youth.
Mark has inspired so many children and I am lucky enough to have known that what you saw on screen was the real thing. He had a great way of teaching, nurturing and encouraging and I do hope that with your help we can continue his legacy.
Kate
